This tour will take you into what was once no-man's land or the ceded territory where you will be able to enjoy the wildlife and African bush much as it would have been when the forts were first built in the area.

1-Day:
Leaving King Wm's Town we visit the site of the former Tamara Post and the Line Drift Post in the Keiskamma River bush. We then visit historic places between the Fish River and the Keiskamma River enjoying the wildlife that is to be seen in the area.

Depending on road conditions and river we visit Fort Willshire, which was once the place where the only authorized trade fairs could be held between black and white on the frontier as well as other places of interest. On our way back we visit the Peddie fortifications that sustained an attack by thousands of Xhosa and the old D'Urban Mission set up for the Mfengu who were settled in the area.
